Organized by a team of several organizations, the Indianapolis Women of Color Conference 2009 was created to advocate, educate and promote the success and well-being of all women and future women of color in the United States of America. The one-day conference is primarily focused in empowering women of color in five main areas: business, education, finance, health and workforce development.

Now Accepting Nominations for Community Service Award
The Women of Color Community Service Award, the highest award presented by the Women of Color Committee, recognizes each year a minority women who best exemplifies outstanding commitment to her community.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding community leader and a person’s who endeavors to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of the Greater Indianapolis area.
